Around the world there is a wonderful diversity of Christian schools. This blogsite includes articles and promotional videos for, and about, Christian schools. The inclusion of material is not an endorsement.

Hopefully these articles, videos and examples from around the world will help parents better understand the different visions of Christian schools. The goal is for parents to be better equipped to ask questions. It may help Christian schools evaluate what messages they are sending out to their community.

Roseland Christian School History and Future

Tuesday, February 15, 2011
For all Christian Schools a sense of history helps give the community a better perspective on education. Roseland Christian School created a series of videos to help celebrate their 125th Anniversary. In these two videos they ask current students what it would have been like - and what it will be like.

In What Was Roseland Christian School Like 125 Years Ago? students share their hilarious speculations on life at Roseland Christian School during its earliest years.

In What Will Roseland Christian School Be Like 125 Years From Now? students share their hilarious speculations on life at Roseland Christian School far into the future.

These videos help the current school community to understand that others have come before them and others will come after them. School and life is not all about them. It is also important for staff to understand that they are involved in something which will hopefully outlast them.  Christian Schools should be grateful for their heritage and prepared to maintain the vision and passion of their founders. When schools are young it is sometimes hard to imagine what it will look like in 10 years yet alone 125 years.
